Artist's Statement
From making clothes for paper dolls in grade school, to designing sweaters in my Los Angeles knitting and needlework shop, to knitting windbreaks out of sisal with 5 foot needles in the Methow, I have always expressed my creativity with art. My first love, however, is painting.
After a hiatus of many years I have delved into painting again with the benefit of many (and many more) years of experiences, growth, and new perspectives. Each painting is an adventure that leads me with form, color, light, and emotion. It is my goal to meld what my eye sees, and what my inner vision knows. May you also enjoy the journey.
